I am very excited to announce the newest brand that has arrived to Cloth Diaper Kids. Say hello to Mother-ease!

Founded in 1991 by Erika Froese, Mother-ease products are MADE IN CANADA 🇨🇦 and have been time tested through several generations of babies - and grandbabies - for perfection in performance and leak-free design. Erika wanted convenient, reliable, leak-free solutions for cloth diapering her own children and thus a brand was born. 34 years and 4 children later Mother-ease continues to be a family-run business. Today Alex (Erika's fourth son) and his wife Melissa manage the office and assist in running the business.

Green Energy
Manufactured in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, Mother-ease is at the forefront of greener manufacturing and for the last 15 years has been using 100% green electricity supplied by Bullfrog Power (since 2007!). Choosing green energy shrinks the carbon footprint of production and supports renewable energy projects in Canada.

I am thrilled to have another domestically manufactured brand of such high quality in our shop.

Mother-ease Fabrics
All Mother-ease fabrics are custom knit. What does that mean? It means you will not find their fabrics on a shelf at any fabric store. All of their fabrics go through extensive testing before use, ensuring that their cloth diapers are made using the most effective materials for durability, ease of cleaning and good absorbency.

Their cotton and organic cotton terry is knit with 100% natural fabric touching your baby's delicate skin. The organic cotton options also meet Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS). Ring spun, combed cotton yarn ensures a top quality grade of cotton.

A small amount of polyester is knit into the base of the fabric to provide strength, durability and shrinkage control (common issues with other brands featuring natural

fabrics). This polyester core lengthens the lifespan of the cotton/organic cotton fabric immensely while still keeping only natural fiber in direct contact with baby's sensitive skin. Imagine it a bit like carpet loops where ringlets of natural cotton are woven into the polyester base. You cannot see or feel this polyester core, it is just there to ensure your diapers last as long as you need them to.
