Comparison: Thirsties Potty Training Pants vs Kanga Care's Lil' Learnerz Training Pants

If you're thinking about potty training solutions for your toddler or you're noticing that they are showing signs of potty learning readiness, it might be time to add some washable, reusable training underwear to their wardrobe.

Let's look at two of our popular training pant options to help you decide which might work best for your child.

Thirsties Potty Training Pants
An organic option that feels like real fabric inside and out, the Thirsties trainers are cute, comfy and feel like genuine underwear.  There is a waterproof layer of PUL in between the layers for protection and the legs and waist are stretchy and soft. There is absorbency built into the core for handling leaks, but if your child is a super heavy wetter it might not be quite enough absorbency.  The organic cotton interior will feel wet on the skin which can help with learning and they come in three sizes spanning 20-33lbs with snaps on the hips for easy changes should they be needed.

Kanga Care's Lil' Learnerz Training Pants
These trainers feature an athletic wicking jersey on the inside for lightweight moisture wicking that still feels wet enough to promote potty learning.  Waterproof TPU on the outside gives leakage protection, but does feel like the outside of a cloth diaper (rather than like fabric or underwear material).   A light padding of microfiber is built into the core for absorbency (sufficient for light wetters or small accidents), but there is also a pocket where you can add more absorbency if needed.  Snaps on each hip facilitate easy changes if required.  They are very lightweight and have a fair amount of stretch at both waist and legs. They come in a very large range of sizes up to 60+lbs and many different colors and prints.

Here's a close up of both for you:
