Which Is Better? Kinder's Cloud Cotton or their Essentials AWJ Pocket Diaper?
If you are comparing Kinder's original pocket diaper - the Essentials Pocket lined with athletic wicking jersey (AWJ) to this new Cloud Cotton version, here's what to consider:

• Essentials AWJ Pocket: Uses a 100% polyester athletic wicking jersey lining that pulls moisture off the skin and holds it in the absorbent insert, so baby feels dry on the skin longer between changes.  Choose AWJ if you're diapering baby overnight, have a heavy wetter, or have a baby who's sensitive to feeling wet.
• Cloud Cotton Pocket: Uses a 100% cotton lining. This cotton version absorbs on contact instead, which means your baby will feel the wetness. Choose cotton if you want natural breathable fibers against baby's skin and have a baby who doesn't mind a little wetness. Feeling some wetness can assist babies in early potty learning since they can feel when they are wet. 

Many parents keep both versions in rotation: cotton for daytime, AWJ for naps and nights. If you want the best of both, you can always lay a stay-dry liner on top of the cotton if you need it to be stay-dry.
