Cloth Diaper Kids 3nd Annual Baby Crawl Competition
In partnership with the Prairie Mall in Grande Prairie, AB
Race heats begin at 10AM in the Center Court (next to the Food Court) on Saturday, June 3, 2017.

- Babies must be between 6 and 12 months old on the day of the competition. Babies of mixed ages will compete against one another. Baby does not need to be cloth diapered to enter.
- Parent must sign a waiver/permission form at check-in as well as a photo release form for baby to compete.
- If you are not there at your race time, you cannot compete.
- Each baby contestant MUST be accompanied by TWO ‘coaches’. A coach may be a parent, grandparent or other adult or a sibling at least 12 years of age.
- Babies will crawl across a padded mat or other suitable surface from one coach to the other. Lane lines are for appearances only. Baby does not need to stay within their lane while crawling – interference and bumping between babies is to be expected and is part of the fun!
- Coach at the finish line may use any type of prop they like to help coax baby to crawl to them (teddy bears, cell phones, keys etc. are all fair game). Coach may reach over the finish line towards baby as long as they do not touch baby or interfere with other contestants. *The coach from the starting line may not move to the finish line to assist in coaxing baby*
- Babies must CRAWL only. Any baby who stands or walks during the racing time will be disqualified.
- Winner will be the first baby to cross any part of the finish line with any part of their body.
- Each heat will last up to 90 seconds. If no baby has crossed the finish line when the time is up, the baby closest to the line will be declared the winner.
- Winners of each heat move on to race against each other in the grand prize finale race.
- Judge(s) will call the races as they see them. No photo or video footage will be used to determine the winner. Judge(s) decisions are final and cannot be contested.
- Prizes will be accepted as awarded. No cash value.
PRIZES: Winner of each heat wins a $50 prize pack. Grande Prize is a $200 prize pack. All prizes contain a mix of a Grande Prairie Mall gift card and natural mom & baby products from us here at Cloth Diaper Kids. There will be lots of non-cloth diaper items in the prize packs too.
**Babies do NOT need to be cloth diapered to enter. Everyone is welcome!
